Initial version

New page

Consistent page names make the wiki searchable and organized. Please follow this format when creating a new cast page.

== The format ==

Cast pages should be named using the format '''[Year][Letter]''', with no spaces:

* 1965A
* 1988E
* 2023A

This matches the cast naming used in official UWP records.

== Page title ==

When you create a page in MediaWiki, the page name '''is''' the title. So if you create a page called "1988E", that's both the URL and the displayed title.

Use the format above exactly — no "Cast" prefix, no spaces.

== Special cases ==

A few casts used non-standard naming:

* '''2004 Fall'''
* '''2005 Spring''' and '''2005 Fall'''

Use those names as-is.

== What if I'm not sure of the letter? ==

If you're uncertain which letter your cast was, you can either:

* Check the [[Casts|Casts by year]] index to see what's listed
* [https://uwpiaa.org/contact/ Contact an admin] to confirm

Don't create a page with a wrong or made-up letter — it makes cleanup harder later.

== What if a page already exists? ==

Great — edit it instead of creating a new one. See [[How to edit a page]].
