How to edit a page
Editing an existing page is even easier than creating one.
Step 1 — Find the page
Browse to the page you want to edit. You can find cast pages under Casts by year.
Step 2 — Click "Edit"
While logged in, you'll see an Edit tab near the top of the page (next to "Read" and "View history"). Click it.
If you see Edit source instead, that's the wikitext editor. Both work — the visual editor is friendlier for non-technical users.
> Don't see an Edit tab? Make sure you're logged in. If you are and still don't see it, contact an admin — your account may need editing permissions.
Step 3 — Make your changes
The visual editor works like a basic word processor. You can use the buttons along the top to:
- Bold or italicize text
- Add headings, bullet points, and numbered lists
- Insert links and images
- Add tables
Just click into the text and start typing. No special formatting knowledge needed.
Step 4 — Save
Click Save changes (top right) when you're done. Your changes go live immediately.
You can optionally add a short summary of what you changed in the "Edit summary" box — this helps other contributors understand the page history.
Can I see what changed?
Yes. Every page has a View history tab at the top. You can see every past version and who made each change. Nothing is ever permanently lost.
What if I accidentally mess something up?
Don't worry — you can revert to any previous version from the View history tab. Just click the timestamp of the version you want to restore, then edit and save.
If something major went wrong, let us know and an admin can help.
