How to use this wiki

This wiki runs on MediaWiki — the same software that powers Wikipedia. You don't need to know anything about it; this guide covers everything you need.

What is a wiki?

A wiki is a website where many people can add and edit pages. Think of it like a shared document, except it's organized like a website with its own pages, links, and history. Wikipedia is the most famous example.

This wiki is specifically for Up With People alumni to document cast history. Pages cover:

  • Casts organized by year and letter
  • Tour dates and countries visited
  • Photos, stories, and memories

Anyone with an approved account can contribute.

Getting an account

Reading the wiki is open to everyone — no account needed. To add or edit pages, you'll need an account.

Due to spam and AI-generated abuse, accounts are manually approved. Please contact the admin team and let us know you'd like to contribute. Once your account is approved, you're free to add and edit pages — your changes go live immediately.

Sorry for the extra step — it's the only way we can keep the wiki honest.

  • The left sidebar lists main sections and tools
  • Links in blue take you to other pages in the wiki
  • Links shown in red are pages that haven't been written yet

Reading a page

Pages are just text with formatting. Nothing to install or click through. If you see something that looks wrong or incomplete, you can edit it — see How to edit a page.

Don't be afraid to contribute

  • It's okay if your page is incomplete — others can fill in gaps later
  • Every page has a full edit history, so nothing is ever truly lost
  • If you make a mistake, you (or an admin) can roll back to a previous version
